Give me coffee and good conversation and I am a happy girl. Give me Fair Trade Ground Coffee that taste delicious and I am a very happy girl! Now that all my kids are in school full time I have more time to plan coffee mornings with my friends. Typically our mornings include coffee, conversation, and a few treats. It is a great way to connect with my mom friends and enjoy some conversation. When GlobeIn reached out to me to share their amazing products, I knew that I wanted to learn more and that they would be a great fit for my coffee with friends mornings.

Coffee Mornings with Friends
Coffee mornings actually started out as moms dinners. A few friends would meet out once a month for dinner when our children were small. As our children grew and entered school we moved our friend dinners to coffee mornings. It worked with our busy evening schedules of sports, homework, and after-school activities. It also gave us a chance to relax over a cup of coffee and enjoy a great start to our day.
As soon as I received my GlobeIn Artisan Subscription Box I knew it would be a great fit for our next coffee morning. I received the Wired package. It includes a basket, milk and sugar ceramics, coffee spoon, a magnet, and Fair Trade Ground Coffee. Honestly this box was made for me. I love the colors and the coffee is amazing!
GlobeIn is an incredible company and I was so excited to learn more about them. From their website:
It’s our passion to discover extraordinary, useful finds from all over the globe and share them with you. Our shop features products sourced from direct relationships with artisans as well as vetted partner organizations. From Mexican woven baskets to Ghanaian coasters, each handcrafted good we share with you is remarkably distinct.
Everything is handcrafted and helps create jobs and share the talent of artisans across the globe. As soon as I received my subscription box I had a sense of joy and felt connected to each of the items. I really liked that each item is handcrafted and you can feel the personal touches. The book that accompanies the subscription box gives you personal insight into where each item came from and the artist behind the product.
I love to fill my home with items that have a story and each of these have a special story that brings joy into our home. The items fit perfectly into my home and were great accessories for my coffee morning. I even used the top of the basket as a cookie tray!!

How to Get the Kids Involved
I love my coffee morning but GlobeIn is such a cool cause and passionate organization that I wanted to find a way to get my kids involved. I think it is important to help my kids see a bigger picture of the world then our little world we call home. Often we think this has to be large gestures but there are small ways to include the kids and I thought of a few great ways to include the kids by using GlobeIn.
- Order a 3 month subscription box and store them until Christmas time. Then you have a few boxes to gift to family or share with the service people in your lives like the mail carrier or bus drivers.
- Send a surprise box to a neighbor this Thanksgiving. Bonus: Try to keep it a surprise!
- Stay connected with friends and family that live far away and send them a subscription box.
- Send a box to your school’s secretary. They keep the school running and often get overlooked.
- Surprise the librarians with an artisan box. I know we use the library all the time and our librarians are always so kind and helpful.
GlobeIn helps to create connections in your own community as well as creating a bridge to communities across the globe. It is a great way to bring global awareness to your family as well as your community.
